Know of any good books to read?

So yeah, another blessing... my mom is moving home from Australia in March!!! So that is frain' awesome. But now me and Josh aren't too sure if we want to stay living here with my parents or if we want to move into an apartment. We had a really good deal on our last apartment and I can't believe how expenseive some places are to rent! Holy crap! But we will be wherever we are supposed to, even in that is here. Which wouldn't be too bad since Josh will be going for his masters this next year which will be pricey and I am hopefully student teaching this fall, and I really don't want to have to work while I am doing all of that so??? Who knows...
Does anybody know of any really good deals on apartments in the SLC area?
Also to fill some people in, I had a kidney infection this fall that didn't go away the first time and so I went to the hospital a lot for an IV antibiotic treatments which was a lot of money in doctor bills. I hate my insurance through sweet tomatoes, and I can't wait for Josh to get a job with some good benefits. The doctor did say though that if it weren't for the technology that we have now, I would have been in the hospital for a few weeks, and if I didn't go in as soon as I did, I could have died. So yeah, I am glad that Josh's mom made Josh take me to the doctor. I just wish that the doctor wasn't so darn expensive.

School is almost over for the semester and I am going to read some new books. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Here are a few I am going to read though...

Tale of Desperaux (again, cuz I want it to be fresh in my mind for the movie)
---Me and Chelsea will be going to the movie together if any of you want to read the book too and come with us---
Joy Luck Club -book club book

And here are a few that I was suggested to read: Goosegirl, Princess Academy, Finding Noel, My sister's Keeper, Elantras, and the Lady's Auxillary.

Also, there is a new Nicholas Sparks book out that I really want to read.

If you have read any of these please let me know if they are worth the read, and if you have any good book suggestions let me know them too.

Into the mystic...

So I will admit it, I have now seen Twilight 5 times. It is sooo good and I could seriously see it 80 more and be just as enthralled. One thing that I have noticed though is that some people, when asked if they have read it say "NO, and I refuse!" Or think that if they read it they are being hypocritical (ie Josh). If there is such a big following for the books, and so many fans, obviously they are pretty good books, and why knock them if you haven't even looked into reading them specifically because you believe it to be a FAD???? SO LAME! Anyways, I think Twilight it great, and I have read the books twice so far going on three times. If you still haven't read it yet you really need to, and if you want to borrow my precious copies to read it, just let me know. Or if you have read them, and haven't seen the movie yet, Let's GO! yay!

Other news... things are going ok. My mom went back to Australia and won't be back for six more months which really sucks. However, Heavenly father has blessed me with another dream where we went garage saling. We had a blast and went to Coachman's for soup after. I know Heavenly father knows who I am and I am grateful he knows what I need -time with my mom, even if it is in a dream.

I am stoked for Christmas even if I am only getting new garments and my Kidney bills paid off. YAY for Christmas when you are married!!! No it is still fun, and thanks to modern medicine and antibiotics I am alive for christmas, so that is a great gift.

Twilight was the shiz....

So yes we did go to the midnight premiere of TWILIGHT!!! Freakin' amazing.... I thought Robert Pattinson was a perfect Edward, and Bella definately smelled like vampire that night. Whooo. Anyways, I loved it. I thought they followed the book very well, and it suprised me how much I enjoyed it. I actually just got home from seeing it the second time, and I love it even more. I know I probablly sound like a total moron to those of you who haven't read the books. But I hope that those of you who have read them can relate.
I had so much fun seeing this movie with my mom, Joe, Bree, Chelsea, and even Jer! And I love my new Twilight shirt. My mom is so cute too, I am glad to have her cheezy smile. I loved going to this movie with all of my aweome beehives, they were soooo cute! One even was clever enough to put glitter all over her skin and dressed up as a vampire in the sunlight. She totally should have won the costume contest. Anyways, it was a blast!!!! but PLEASE READ THE BOOK BEFORE YOU SEE THE MOVIE!!!! Because as much as I loved the movie...I LOVED the book.

So these are some way sweet ideas that I found for home decor from freshome.com. If you like these, there are TONZ more pics like them that are way tight. Chelsea and I love IKEA and so we are always up for new ideas. How awesome would it be to have a closet under your bed? Or a fairy chair hanging from your tree to read in? Or a slip cover for your down comforter that looks like a cardboard box? I especially liked the lamp.
But my favorite is the bookshelf built into the stairs.

Hope you like it too. This is the kind of thing that I do when I am REALLY bored between classes. So if you know of any other sites like this, let me know too.

How sweet is that?

So our book this month for our book club was " The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. Great book for people who think they had it bad growing up. It really gives you a new perspective on life choices. I highly reccomend it, even though it may bring up some memories that you may not want to think about.

If you are not in a book club, you should be. They introduce you to a network of people who also like to read, and bring new books into your life. People really need to read more often. If makes me sad to see how many people would rather watch a TV show than read a good book.

Speaking of good books, Twilight come out this Thursday night and I couldn't be happier. Especially since I am going with my gal pals. If you haven't read the Twilight series yet, you are really missing out. And don't say you aren't reading it becuase it is just a fad.... you know that you want to see what the big deal is about this way hot, romantic, perfect, statuesque, immortal, vampire that everyone is talking about. Just do it.

On Holiday

So math is excrutiatingly painful to my brain sometimes. I hate learning about all of the nitty gritty details that I have to know to be a math teacher. I don't really care why we use the reciprical when dividing fractions I just know it works. I now know why it works "but it still doen't change the fact that I don't own a car".
