Twilight was the shiz....

So yes we did go to the midnight premiere of TWILIGHT!!! Freakin' amazing.... I thought Robert Pattinson was a perfect Edward, and Bella definately smelled like vampire that night. Whooo. Anyways, I loved it. I thought they followed the book very well, and it suprised me how much I enjoyed it. I actually just got home from seeing it the second time, and I love it even more. I know I probablly sound like a total moron to those of you who haven't read the books. But I hope that those of you who have read them can relate.
I had so much fun seeing this movie with my mom, Joe, Bree, Chelsea, and even Jer! And I love my new Twilight shirt. My mom is so cute too, I am glad to have her cheezy smile. I loved going to this movie with all of my aweome beehives, they were soooo cute! One even was clever enough to put glitter all over her skin and dressed up as a vampire in the sunlight. She totally should have won the costume contest. Anyways, it was a blast!!!! but PLEASE READ THE BOOK BEFORE YOU SEE THE MOVIE!!!! Because as much as I loved the movie...I LOVED the book.

So these are some way sweet ideas that I found for home decor from freshome.com. If you like these, there are TONZ more pics like them that are way tight. Chelsea and I love IKEA and so we are always up for new ideas. How awesome would it be to have a closet under your bed? Or a fairy chair hanging from your tree to read in? Or a slip cover for your down comforter that looks like a cardboard box? I especially liked the lamp.
But my favorite is the bookshelf built into the stairs.

Hope you like it too. This is the kind of thing that I do when I am REALLY bored between classes. So if you know of any other sites like this, let me know too.

How sweet is that?

So our book this month for our book club was " The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. Great book for people who think they had it bad growing up. It really gives you a new perspective on life choices. I highly reccomend it, even though it may bring up some memories that you may not want to think about.

If you are not in a book club, you should be. They introduce you to a network of people who also like to read, and bring new books into your life. People really need to read more often. If makes me sad to see how many people would rather watch a TV show than read a good book.

Speaking of good books, Twilight come out this Thursday night and I couldn't be happier. Especially since I am going with my gal pals. If you haven't read the Twilight series yet, you are really missing out. And don't say you aren't reading it becuase it is just a fad.... you know that you want to see what the big deal is about this way hot, romantic, perfect, statuesque, immortal, vampire that everyone is talking about. Just do it.

On Holiday

So math is excrutiatingly painful to my brain sometimes. I hate learning about all of the nitty gritty details that I have to know to be a math teacher. I don't really care why we use the reciprical when dividing fractions I just know it works. I now know why it works "but it still doen't change the fact that I don't own a car".
